“Onyx! It comes after you!” Obsidian shouts and the robot is already right in front of Onyx’s face. “Target locked.” The robot says as it aims the right gun to Onyx’s head. Onyx has a really quick reflex that she can manage to dodge it right before the bullet hits her. However, the robot movement is too fast which makes her dodge it as fast as possible without. From that, Onyx gets slipped from her own movement and the robot won’t let its opponent get away easily. The gun that was aiming at her quickly changes into a sharp sword. The robot quickly moves forward to Onyx as it wants to stab her. At this moment and her current condition after dodging the first move, she can barely dodge the next one. Thankfully, Obsidian is not far from her and he successfully tackles the robot before directly hitting Onyx’s, only leaving a scratch on her face. “You are mine!” Obsidian shouts at it but the robot moves quickly to throw him away from it. After getting rid of Obsidian on top of the robot, it stands right away and still focuses on Onyx. Both of its hands turn into sharp swords and charge forward to Onyx once again who is still on the floor. Seems like Onyx freezes from the sudden actions that just happened in front of her eyes. This robot doesn’t have any mercy to take out their lives. Once again, Obsidian jumps forward to the robot’s back and somehow there is a knife in his right hand. “I’m your target, you piece of shit!” He shouts and stabs the back of the robot. Unfortunately, the knife that he used is not sharp enough to get through the robot’s body. On the other hand, Onyx still stays on the ground with her heavy breath because of the robot movement earlier. “Go!” Obsidian shouts which makes Onyx snap out from her fear “Focus on our roles!” Without waiting any longer, Onyx quickly stands up and runs to somewhere that might be a bit far away from them, hoping to find anything that can be used. Onyx stops her roaming for a few seconds as something once again caught her attention from Obsidian’s action just now. A knife. Where did he get that? But it’s not that sharp I suppose.. Onyx asks herself as she tries to look for something useful like that. Just when she wants to take another step forward suddenly one of the sides of the pillar turns around and that makes Onyx’s eyes full with hope. There where the weapons are cased, behind these sides of the pillar. On it there are only two guns complete with the gun holster and ammo. But what did I do? How can this pillar be swapped? She gets rid of those thoughts and takes those weapons for her and Obsidian as well. After getting all of those, she quickly runs back to where the sound of robot and Obsidian are fighting right now. A moment ago after Onyx just left and Obsidian was fighting the robot. Obsidian, who is facing it for almost three minutes straight with the movement that is getting faster and faster, almost loses his breath. He has also already got many scratches and bruises from it. Is it just me but it’s super fast right now? Or am I just getting slower? Obsidian asks himself and before he knows it, the robot is already right in front of him. “Oh! Shi-” Obsidian quickly responds to it by guarding himself. This time the robot attacks him by tackling him and pinning him down on the floor. Once again, the robot changes its right arm into a sword and targets to stab it right in the center of Obsidian's head. In a short time, Obsidian successfully holds it by holding the robot’s right arm with both of his hands. Obviously their strength is much different at the moment which makes the sword slowly getting closer to Obsidian’s face. Now the sword is already only an inch away from Obsidian’s eyes before suddenly the robot’s head gets shot. It gives Obsidian a chance to push away the robot from him because the bullets make the robot lift a bit from him. Obsidian looks at where the bullets were coming from and sees Onyx who is aiming it at them. Just before Obsidian stands up, the robot already does it quicker than him and charges towards Onyx directly once again. The first attack she got before was just a lucky shot from the robot because Onyx is still unaware of what is happening. Now it’s totally different, she is totally awake and focuses on it. The robot goes straight to Onyx with two swords on its hands as it wants to stab her. Onyx just stands there for a moment until their distance is really close with each other. With that close distance, she turns around, her movement smoothly dodges the attack and kicks the right side of the robot with the back of her feet that she already planted a knife on it before. With the full strength that Onyx put into her kick, it slams the robot's body at the nearest wall. After that Onyx quickly runs towards Obsidian to help him. “Come on!” She says and helps Obsidian to get up from the floor. They run a bit and try to hide from the robot behind 3 pillars away from it. “Here, take this.” Onyx says as she is handing one the guns holster and some ammo to Obsidian. Obsidian doesn’t ask where she got this since he is the first one who got a weapon. “Do you know?” Onyx suddenly asks him without looking at him. Onyx is still fully aware as she is checking the situation behind where they are hiding right now. Obsidian doesn’t get what Onyx is referring to and he just raises one of his eyebrows. “Know what?” he asks with a confused voice. “This.” She says and shakes the gun in her left hand. Ohh.. she is asking about the weapon. Sigh of relief comes out from Obsidian and he quickly composes himself back. “No idea. I just found it when I was in the middle of fighting that thing. Suddenly one of the pillars turned around and here is what I got.” Obsidian answers. “Same. Is it by the duration of how long we are staying here?” Onyx replies with a question following behind it. Both of them are confused about where and why they can get those weapons. “Not sure about that.” Obsidian answers and now his breathing is already back to normal. “I don’t think that is the case.” He continues. The second sentence that comes out from him draws Onyx’s attention. “What?” She asks again. From Onyx’s next question, it makes Obsidian look back at her confusedly. Obsidian thinks that Onyx probably doesn’t notice. “I mean the pillar turned around just like ten seconds after the robot targeted me.” Obsidian answers and Onyx probably is starting to get what he is talking about. “You got that bit a while, right?” Obsidian continues and receives a slow nod from Onyx. Suddenly Onyx remembers something that the previous woman had mentioned before. ‘Break all the codes’ From those words that cross her mind, she slowly turns her head and looks at the person who is on the other side of the room with them. “Then does that mean..” Onyx says and from the voice of tone she is using it draws Obsidian’s attention to follow where her eyes are going to. Now both of them probably get the same idea and signal of where they got those things and how to escape from this room. “Chalcedony.” The first word that comes out from Obsidian “If he fails then we are not going to make it.” Onyx finishes the sentence from what Obsidian wanted to say. Both of them stay silent and slowly look at Elio’s direction who looks struggling while holding a piece of paper in his hand. Since they already got two weapons on their hands, that means Elio's position right now is still doing the third question, the last one. “It’s al-” Obsidian takes his eyes away from Elio and looks back at Onyx who is still looking at him. Obsidian doesn’t finish his sentence yet because he sees the robot is already right behind Onyx. From that, Obsidian quickly pulls Onyx as fast as possible and draws his knife to hold the robot’s sword. Onyx, who is getting pulled before, turns around quickly with a gun in her hand and shoots the robot’s head. However those bullets seem not really working or do much damage to it. It only draws the robot’s attention away from Obsidian and starts focusing on her. Before getting up from Obsidian, the robot doesn’t leave him just like that and charges over Onyx. This time, it gets up quickly then stabs one of his swords on Obsidian’s left thigh. “Aghhh!” Obsidian groans in pain as he is holding his left thigh. The robot turns to look at Onyx and starts running while shooting her with the gun from its left arm. “No! Run, Onyx!” Obsidian says and tries to draw the robot’s attention once again. Onyx quickly hides behind one of the pillars and tries to get away from it. She only has a knife and a gun of one ammo with 12 bullets in it. At this moment, the only option that could help her is running away from it as fast as she can until Elio can break all of the codes that the woman mentioned before. But, how long can she run away from it? At the same time, if she wants to fight back, the weapons that she has right now doesn’t give any effect toward the robot. Nothing much she can do with these lots of disadvantages on their position right now. More importantly, Obsidian seems to get a lot of injuries while fighting with this robot previously, especially the fatal one that he just got. He won’t move as fast as before at the moment. Onyx is just running, a bit further from Obsidian because she doesn’t want the robot to attack him again, and dodging the robot’s attack towards her with the pillars in the room. It’s probably the time that Onyx and Obsidian need to switch positions to be the bait for the robot. “Alright. Let’s play tag, shall we?” Onyx says with a smirk on her face. “Over here!” She shouts and shoots a bullet to the opposite direction where she is going. The robot doesn’t fall so easily or even flinches from her trick. It is following her right exactly where she is going no matter how many times Onyx tries to distract or get away from it. At the same time, Onyx is almost running out of stamina for running and hiding away from the robot. Since she is not sure of how long she needs to keep doing this and how Elio is doing there, Onyx finally decides to fight it back. She hides behind a pillar and waits until the robot shows up in a couple of seconds. Her prediction is correct and that is where she decides to sneak attack it from the side. She stabs the knife right on the lesser vision of the robot with all of her strength but the knife can’t get through the glass. It only leaves the robot’s vision cracked and the robot quickly grabs Onyx’s head. “Aghh!” Onyx screams painfully as she is holding the robot’s arm, trying to get rid of it from her. Obviously there is a big difference between their strength which doesn't change anything to her current condition. The robot lifts its left arm, the one that has a gun on it, and aims right on her head. “No, no, no! Please no..!” Onyx says desperately and struggles to get away from it as she tries to kick off the robot. None of it is working and without a second, the robot will shoot her. *BANG* A sound of gunshot comes out. The bullet drops from the gun and the sound of it bounces on the floor. “Huh?” the first word that comes out from Onyx as she is slowly opening her eyes. Her ears are ringing from the sound of a gunshot that is so close with her. *BANG* Another sound of gunshot and it makes her legs slowly touch the floor. The second sound comes out far away from her and she tries to look where the sound is coming from. Her eyes are widening with what she is seeing, it’s her worst view she ever wanted for. “No..” she says as now she is totally free from the robot. It’s Obsidian. He is crawling all the way to her leaving all of his blood spreading behind him. “Told you..” he says with a heavy breath while holding the gun in his hand that is aiming toward the robot. “I’m your target.” The robot’s vision is cracked from Onyx’s previous attack which actually worked. It makes it harder to lock its target and detects where the person is. Onyx realizes it in a second and quickly takes out the gun in her gun holster. “Shoot its head! The one that is cracked!” She shouts to Obsidian while running at him. Obsidian nods his head and shoots right at the direction where Onyx just told him. After two bullets shot, Obsidian doesn’t have any ammo for it. “I’m out of bullets.” He tells Onyx who is trying to help him. “It’s enough. Can you stand up?” Onyx asks him as she is taking one of his arms and puts it around her shoulders. “Agh!” Obsidian groans in pain but he is still trying to stand up following Onyx’s help “I’m fine.” He says firmly. The robot is having a hard time to lock down the target because of the damaged vision from Onyx and the shots from Obsidian. However with that error vision, that is still not enough to stop the robot from moving quickly. It starts to randomly move and attack its surroundings without any direction at all which makes Onyx and Obsidian hard to read the movement. When Onyx is helping Obsidian to get away from it, the robot’s random move suddenly kicks Onyx’s right ribs. With that strength on its kick, it makes Onyx and Obsidian fall on the floor again. “Aghh!” Onyx grimaces in pain while holding her right side. The robot takes a few steps back and turns around to where they are now. At first it looks around and finally the head is facing towards them. “Target locked.” as it changes the right arm into a sword once again and get ready to strike. Onyx’s back is facing the robot and the pain she feels right now is killing her from inside. On the other hand, Obsidian, who is leaning with his left side, sees the robot target based on which its head is looking to. It’s Onyx. “Onyx!” He shouts and tries to get up once again. He doesn’t have his knife at the moment and now the only option to protect Onyx is by using his body. But this time, his body is a lot heavier than before which makes him too late to protect her one last time. Meanwhile Onyx doesn’t know what is happening and can’t react too much to it. But hearing what Obsidian just shouted about, this is probably the end for her. She surrenders to what is going to happen as she closes her eyes tightly. After a few seconds passed by, nothing happened. Onyx, who is already closing her eyes tightly, doesn’t feel anything. Nothing happens and she slowly opens her eyes to look back only to find the robot’s sword freezes right behind her, only an inch away. The silence fills the room, none of them can let out a word from their mouth. That only lasts for a moment and the sound of the door opens can be heard. “What a show!” A male voice comes inside while clapping his hands like an approval. “Boring..” A female voice follows right behind him lazily. “Hey! Don’t say that! We need to appreciate them!” He whispers, which is still audible, to his partner and nudges her shoulder. Both Onyx and Obsidian are still on the floor with their badly injured and the only thing they can do is just staring at those two who just come in. “Just right on time, huh?” The male says and looks up to where Elio’s room is which makes Onyx remember what she has been doing with Obsidian. She looks up there and sees Elio who is sitting on the floor with his body leaning at the wall. “Right on time..” Elio whispers to himself. His heart is beating madly fast inside him and eventually he breathes heavily as well. Even though Elio doesn’t do much of running or fighting a robot, it's probably enough to take a breathtaking moment to break the code, especially right before someone lost their lives. Another moment of silence fills both rooms, only their heavy breath that can barely be heard. “Now this is awkward..” He says innocently again “Oh well..” he claps his hands twice and suddenly some people show up behind him. “Take care of those two wounds.” He orders them and they do it right away. They help and bring the two of them outside to a room where they are going to treat their wounds. Right after those people leave, the door closes behind them. The glass wall that is separating their room before lifts and stairs for Elio to go down from his room appears. Elio takes another deep breath before standing up from his seat. “What’s on your mind at that time?” His interviewer suddenly asks him when Elio is on his way to get down from the room. “What?” Elio asks back and it seems he can’t focus at the moment because of what just happened. From Elio’s replies, his interviewer only chuckles and grins at him. “I asked you. What’s on your mind at that time?” He repeats his question and Elio hears it clearly. “Breaks all the codes.” Elio simply replies and now he is already on the same floor with them. “Any other thoughts?” He asks Elio once again while his partner is only glaring at him. “That’s all.” Once again, Elio replies coldly to them. Again, another chuckle from his interviewer. “That’s what I thought too.” He says and turns around as slowly walks towards the door. Meanwhile his partner is not following right behind him, she is standing there and only looking at Elio with a disgusted face. “Hah..” she lets out a sigh “I don’t know why he chose you.” She says and finally walks away from Elio toward the door as well. Elio just cliches his fist tightly. Once again, he feels defeated and doesn’t have a chance to win against them. Just Elio thought that his response would at least get to them but unfortunately they were already one step ahead from him once again. Now he just realizes that he has no idea of what he needs to do next until someone suddenly shows up from the door. This person is very new to him since he has never seen him before. Elio looks at her from head to toe, scanning and trying to memorize this person's appearance. Her height is probably around 1.62-1.63m and she has long brunette wavy hair. Wearing a suit and long pants just like the others but different colors. Her suit and pants color is midnight blue and black crop top. “Nice to meet you, Tanzanite.” She greets with a bright smile on her face and bows down a bit at him. Too bright that makes Elio squint his eyes a bit because it reminds him about the previous person who was so childish and nerdy at first yet actually so deadly.
