There are rapid sounds of gunshot then the next thing is a sound of a knife getting through a machine. The light on its head, the one that is used for its sight, turns off and all of the parts and head fall down, totally shutted down. Saku draws back his knife from the robot’s body and there is Zircon behind it, leaning on the wall and panting heavily and holding his left arm that is bleeding, while Saku himself is actually worse. Zircon probably gets a deep cut on his left arm and some several injuries but Saku seems to have more blood in his clothes. Both of them panting heavily and probably almost reaching their limit, especially for Saku who has been fighting the two of them at the same time. But there it is, he is still standing with his two feets and successfully beats one of them out of the battle, such a great improvement from these past few weeks. “Congrats on taking out that garbage.” Zircon says sarcastically between his heavy breaths. Saku immediately looks toward where the sound is coming from, a knife and a gun still accompany both of his hands. His figure doesn’t show any weakness or tiredness, it is still as sharp as from the beginning they start fighting. Elio’s soul probably gets into him as Saku doesn’t say anything in return but just gets to his combat position, ready for round two where it is just between two of them. Zircon furrows his eyebrows, irritated how a person like Saku is taunting him as if he is a lot stronger than him. On the other hand Zircon also notices that he already fails to stop them from their mission which makes him wonder why Saku would want to continue this battle. Their tasks should already be fulfilled and Citrina would come out from her cockpit to hunt all of them. Weirdly she doesn’t show up yet which is leaving Zircon wondering and confused at the same time. Is it because Citrina already knows how to handle their chips? Or she just doesn’t realize or the control is just unnoticeable? Suddenly those thoughts disappear because Zircon notices there is someone footsteps behind them and only one person can show up from that direction. Zircon doesn’t turn his head toward the sound and keeps focusing on Saku because he is going to take this as a head start to strike Saku first. Once he hears her step inside the room which makes Saku look at that sound’s source direction immediately, Zircon quickly draws his knife from behind and charges forward to Saku. None of them really can put their guards down even toward their own teammates because what happens next is really out of everyone’s prediction. When Zircon is already in mid way of stabbing Saku from the front, there is a gunshot sound rings in the area which stops both Saku and Zircon movement. First blood drops on the ground and slowly there is another one then keeps coming from one of their bodies. Neither of them did it because the one who shot is actually the one who just came into their battlefield, Citrina. There are two guns on her hands as she shows up with that wanting of thirst to kill someone or anyone in her sight, a fierce face that is almost similar to Elio where it can’t be described how mad she is. What makes it more shocking is that the one who she shoots is not their team’s opponent other than Zircon who is actually her teammate. Zircon looks down only to find that his body is bleeding then slowly turns his head to look at Citrina in disbelievement mixed with anger. “Why.. you.. Bi-” None of them really a fan of letting someone finish their sentence as Citrina shoots him on his shoulder this time, not one but both of them. “Agghhh..” Zircon groans in pain and his legs no longer can support him to stand up which makes him fall on the ground. Taking this as a chance for Saku to run away as fast as possible but the one who is in front of him right now is the vice-president of lions. Just before Saku can turn around, Citrina shoots him right beside his face which makes his cheek bleed just from that tiny scratch. If he just moved an inch away before, the bullet won’t miss but will get through his head instead. However when he stays like a stone, Citrina also stops her shots to him as she continues heading toward Zircon who is on the ground looking totally wrecked and badly hurt with his blood almost covering his body. Zircon opens one of his eyes only to see a pair of eyes from the shooter watching him with dead eyes and flat face as if he is nothing other than disappointment. “Seriously..” Zircon says weakly and tries to get up with all the wounds on him using his knee as the first support to stand up “You are really such a pain in the ass, you know that?” No words coming out from Citrina’s mouth as she just keeps aiming her right gun to Zircon’s head. Silence fills in the area, none of them do anything or even move an inch, and the only sound that can be heard is Zircon’s hard breathing. His eyes half open and all of his body is a bit shaking, these lions are really on another level in different aspects. Not many people can hold and get back up after getting that many wounds like this lion in front of Saku. “Do it.” Breaking the silence as Zircon slowly brings his body closer toward Citrina. “Do it.” He repeats and now their distance is only two feets away as Citrina’s gun is only an inch away from his forehead. Still no response at all as Citrina just stands there and stares at him without any changes on her face, Elio’s soul really starts getting to each one of them, huh? “I said do it!” Zircon demands as he takes another step forward and holds the gun to touch his head. “Come on. What are you waiting for, huh?” His voice starts to get irritated. Three of them actually have one thing that is similar with each other which is how impatience they are. This cooperation literally gets led by these three impatience, greedy, and ruthless people yet it can operate for almost a decade. Nothing changes at all as the silence gets back in and Zircon breaks it once again by letting out another sigh of defeat then takes a few steps back from Citrina. “We are really not matched, huh?” Zircon says and puts his hands inside his pockets. From the beginning Zircon knows that Citrina doesn’t listen or do anything he told her to do since he also has been working with her for quite a long time already. Hence, ordering or demanding her to do something that comes out from his mouth won’t bring him anything. Can Zircon fight back? Of course he can and the probability of the chance he gets is about 15 percent to turn the table. For someone like Zircon, a number that reaches until 15 is already more than enough for him to take that risk. However suddenly his mind shows something that it slowly generates someone that is so dear to him, it’s a woman in a white dress. Even though Zircon actually can’t hear anything, reading her mouth’s movements are enough for him to understand what that particular someone is trying to tell him. Please come home.. You have done enough. Therefore, Zircon starts to think there is no other reason for him to stay here, either as a lion or to be here. With that being said, Zircon knows exactly what he needs to do to make Citrina move just like what he wanted. “Seeing you like this..” He closes his eyes for a moment, remembering all of the things he has done “You are exactly like what Ae-Ri told me.” continues along with something that is as rare as hen's teeth, a pure warm smile from Zircon. The key word is only the third last word, someone’s name, which is enough to trigger everything inside Citrina to do as he wished. Another gunshot rings in the area and now it directly gets through Zircon’s chest as his body slowly falls to the back then hits the ground. Now his body is lying on the ground with mostly his body covered in blood but for the first time Saku sees his face looks so peaceful and genuinely happy with that smile still there not fading at all. While the one who is holding a gun, a teardrop comes out from her left eye but her face doesn’t change at all. This is Saku’s first time seeing her expression like that other than an annoyed or irritated face. Her face might still look slightly irritated but it’s more like desperation as if she just lost everything and her eyes are dead like there is nothing on it. “Right..” Citrina whispers, still facing where Zircon is lying right now. “She is always anyway.” Another teardrop follows to come out from her right eye. Seeing Citrina’s face that is covered in sorrow, Saku really wants to use this chance to flee as fast as possible. Running away won’t be an easy option here even though she seems off and no longer aiming at anyone with both of her hands at her side. This is Citrina after all, her accuracy is no joke and she even can shoot anywhere without actually looking at the target. However if he stays there a bit longer while it is just the two of them, the next target who is going to get a piece of the bullet is him, Saku. Both options might be impossible to make Saku flee without getting injured, except in one condition. Citrina not bothering herself to wipe off the tears first as she just looks at Saku’s direction and aims her gun toward him. There goes off another sound of gunshot. Saku stands still there for a second, trying to read the situation. The one who turns around quicker than him is the one who actually got shooted, Citrina, as her gun also flies away from her hand. Another gunshot rings in the area which makes Saku gain all of his senses back and quickly gets undercover. “You're welcome.” Someone’s voice says proudly beside him as she is reloading her gun. Thereby that person is Chae who just saved him because she just got in at the right timing where Citrina is going to shot another bullet through Saku At this moment, Saku really wants to do something that is crossing the line between them to express his gratitude but thankfully his inner thought kicks in to stay focused. “Plan?” Saku asks and gets the gun from Chae who is offering one of hers. Before she answers that, Chae turns her head only to stare deeply into his eyes and a tiny pure smile without saying anything. Only for a few seconds but it feels eternally for Saku, pushing him until the edge for risking it all. “Stay alive.” Finally speaks up and breaks eye contact as she peeks toward where Citrina has gone. What are we again? That is the first thought that comes across Saku’s mind before he stands up and puts all of his focus to be aware of any surprises coming from Citrina who is nowhere to be found. With that being said, both sides have only one more task to be done, stay alive until the plane lands perfectly on the freespace they have planned about before. Again it won’t be easy because this is literally their final boss which is facing the two maniacs of lions. Anything could happen, even the worst thing that no one ever thinks about is still possible. Speaking of the devil, here it goes first for Elio and Sofia who hear a sound of something getting dragged. The sound is quite close which makes them confused about what is Heliodor’s plan. “Hey, hey, there little cubs~” Hearing such a thrilling call, it makes both of them turn their bodies toward the voice’s source. What they are seeing is something even more terrifying because of the things around Heliodor’s body. The sound of things getting dragged comes from the gatling gun ammunition that reaches until the ground floor even though some of it already attaches around his body. That is not the only weapon he brings, there are also some grenades that have explosives quite big in such a cramped place like this plane. “Let’s play!” He says excitedly and brings that huge gatling gun to aim at two of them then start shooting them. Quickly before a bullet can hit them, both of them quickly turn around and run away as fast as possible. “Seriously where did all of those strengths come from though?!” Sofia asks frustratedly while running away. “Even a lion has its own limit though.” Elio replies and breathes heavily beside her, both of them almost out of breath from witnessing their lives just pass by in front of their eyes. “Yea.. it’s no longer a lion. It’s a monster.” Sofia replies and looks at the timer in her watches. The time passed by quickly because there is only less than 5 minutes left, no wonder she can feel the plane is starting to slow down as the height also gets decreasing. Weirdly the gun shooting is following them but it doesn’t stop even though they are already out of Heliodor’s sight. It makes both of them confused and look at each other, wondering what Heliodor is trying to do until they realize they are facing a psycho Of course when he knows it’s impossible to catch the two of them, especially in his current condition, he will find a way to make them come to him instead. And the only way to do that is by destroying the plane so the probability the plane will crash before it can land smoothly as how it is being programmed. Doesn’t matter whether Heliodor will survive from the plane crash but the only target left for him is to bring these two with him to hell. There are two options for them now, fighting them in this cramped place which is only a hallway or the other one that might be less risky. “Parachute! This way!” Sofia suggests quickly as she runs toward the storage area. The gatling gun surely has a lot of damage toward the plane which makes all of the red lights inside of it start to pop off. It is also a signal for them that the plane probably won't be the same with the timer, it could be faster and not as smooth as it is set. Thankfully Sofia knows the way since she reads and remembers the plane’s design which helps them a lot to reach the area quickly. “Here! This is the room!” Sofia says once they arrive in front of the door and tries to open it. The door is closed due to a critical error system, Elio quickly draws his phone from his pocket and tries to take control of it. As soon as Elio gets the access, he quickly opens the gate for them to get in and closes it right away, not wanting an uninvited guest to come in. Thankfully according to what Sofia reads from the plane’s map, the parachutes are located near the cargo load which means they can use the cargo’s door for them to jump off. Before they can reach the parachutes, suddenly there is a loud explosion coming from the outside which makes them almost lose their balance. “Not so fast kitty kitty~” again that fanatic voice can be heard again as the person who is holding the end gatling gun shows up behind the smokes. Seeing this person show up again, Sofia quickly pulls Elio’s body to the back to get away from the parachutes’ storage. “Let’s have some fun!” Just like Sofia’s thought, Heliodor is not aiming at them, instead he is shooting toward the parachutes so none of it can be used. After he shoot maniacally toward that direction, seems like the gatling gun finally runs out of ammunition as it stops shooting and Heliodor looks at it with disappointment “Eh? That’s all? Not fun.” He says and throws the gun away from him as the other two are hiding behind a huge box of its load. “Oh? Are we playing hide and seek now? I love that game!” Heliodor exclaims excitedly as there is the sound of him drawing his knives out from his pockets. Now there is not much option left for them as all of the parachutes are destroyed and fighting him is no longer making the situation better since the plane is starting to fall off as well. “Ahh.. shit!” Sofia says frustratedly and slams the box beside her. “How come it always ends up like this?” While Elio just stays there in silence without saying anything, it looks like he is calculating the probability they can get with the plan that shows up in his mind. “Actually..” He speaks up and Sofia immediately faces him, the light keeps coming from him without any specific reason at all. “I got one.” Elio says and shows her a parachute that is still in perfect condition. “Nice! We can use this!” Sofia exclaims proudly and slaps Elio’s shoulder lightly Meanwhile Elio can’t seem to be that happy since there is only one parachute which means only one of them can get off the plane. This is the moment where Elio’s soft spot, which is something he doesn’t know that he might have or not, makes him think of all of the memories he had from the beginning joining this company up until this second. There is sympathy for those people who got hurt or injured because of his mistake, his capability, or simply saving him until the worst case is someone who is meaningful enough lost their life. Actually when he visited Adam’s resting place with Sofia the other day before the operation began, this is where the thoughts kept his mind busy. The thought of Sofia’s loss Adam who is really dear in her life and the others’ sacrifice as well as their struggles, all of those injuries while he is always the one who comes back without getting hurt at all. With that put in mind, Elio decides this is the least he can do to repay their kindness. “Sofia you-” Before he tells her what his plan is, which is letting Sofia be the one who uses the parachute instead of him, Sofia cuts in first. “I have a plan.” Sofia says and Elio knows exactly where this is going. It is always like this anyway where the others sacrifice themself to save the others while Elio is the one who always gets saved. “No, Sofia. I think-” Once again Elio can’t finish his sentence because of Sofia who just cuts in. Weirdly she doesn’t seem or look sad at all because her face is really bright and her eyes are sparkling, a combination for dazzling him. What makes it even more weird is that Elio doesn’t expect Sofia will ever say this or even think of such a plan on their last mission together. “You will be the bait.” Sofia orders which makes Elio’s mind go blank in an instant. Huh?
