Everything is going so fast that Elio can’t catch up with all of it. Starting with figuring out what happened in those short 4 minutes, what happened with the plan, and lastly what is the exact plan by the lions? Is it really to steal all of the auction’s items? Or is it to get rid of the tigers? Using them as their slaves behind their perfect work? That’s just cheap. At the same time, Elio deals with his own self and it’s not only between his heart and his brain. Half of them want to help Lucas and his wife to the safe place while the other one is demanding to save the tigers first because their positions are far away from the getaway point. When Elio tries to reach the tigers, he now just realizes that something is disrupting their connection on their mics. It could be jammed from the security systems which Elio quickly sets Funkids to fix it and makes the connection back stable again. As powerful as it is, the jamming radar disappears in a couple of seconds and this can be counted as Elio’s first step to fix this mess. “Howl, can you hear me?” Elio calls her out first since she is the one most probably in a dangerous place as she keeps moving forward to the lions’ place. “Tanzanite? I thought I’m already out of range because you haven’t answered me.” Howl replies right after and it seems like all of the connection is already fixed because Elio receives another response. “Tanzanite? What is going on?” Spec speaks up with his panicked voice. “Sorry for the late notice that the connection got interrupted by the jamming radar. Update of situations.” Elio replies quickly, leaving all the details of what is actually happening. Seeing Elio still focusing on the screens even though his heavy deep breath can be heard clearly, Heliodor releases his hands from Elio’s shoulders and walks back to his bench, watching him quietly with a smirk. “There are lots of police out here and they have already started to build a lot of barricades on each way out.” Spec reports the outside condition where it might be out of Elio’s range since he can only control the system inside the auction's place. “Stay in your position, Spec. I believe no one will notice you up there.” Elio replies and receives an agreement sign from spec. “Howl get out from there now.” Elio says with his demanding voice while using Funkids to track her down through all of the CCTVs inside. “Why? Did the lions tell you they are safe already?” Howl replies confusedly. Found her. Elio says and shows her position on his screen as he is searching for her safe way out from the auction’s place. Looking at the map, she is actually already in front of the auction’s storage which is where the lions are heading to according to their plan. But the questions right now are, do all of the lions inside of there? Or is it just to trap her inside? From what Heliodor said to him it seems like he already had laid his hands on the tigers as well which most likely is a trap. To make the middle decision where he might not be going to regret it later is to bring Howl to the safe place first. “Just get out of there. It’s not safe anymore.” Elio demands her once again, this one sounds more intimidating full of force. “Okay then if you-” Howl replies but it suddenly gets cut off by a woman’s voice. “What took you so long?! Come on, sloth!” Citrina says angrily as she just gets out from the auction’s storage. Elio who hears her voice through his mic immediately looks at his screen and goes to another angle by changing the CCTV. “Sorry.” Is the only thing Howl can say before Citrina rolls her eyes and gets back inside the storage room. “Tanzanite, we will be out for a few minutes. Can you hold the police for us?” Howl says and asks for Elio’s help because there is no way she will run away after being told that by the lions, her head will be on their billiard pole. “Please tell them to get it quick.” Elio says and sighs, putting his hand on his head and taking this moment for briefly thinking. “And get a bullet through my head?” Howl replies half jokingly with Elio’s request because she knows it’s impossible for a tiger to tell a lion what they need to do. So they are really targeting the items. Elio’s first thought pops out in Elio’s head as he takes another deep breath to relax his mind and connect things together. If they are really planning to steal all of it then what is the cause of this disaster? Is it necessary for them? They are professionals, greedy of things, criminals, and psychopaths, it sounds impossible for them to make such a fuse if they are only looking for those items. Elio let out a loud sigh once again before slowly pulling his head forward to look through the screens and he just remembered something that could connect all of the dots. One of Elio’s screens from Funkids set up still showing Lucas and his wife's position who are already on the exit gate in the middle of a panicked crowd. Seeing their current position almost getting out of this place, Elio can let out a sigh of relief, hoping there is no other silly thing going to happen for the next few minutes. But again, the previous question shows back inside his mind about Lucas’s appearance. Why would someone that doesn’t have any nobility, normal wealth and profession, just an ordinary person like Lucas can be in this place? Nothing seems to make any sense to answer this question as Elio locks his eyes toward the screen that shows Lucas until he gets interrupted once again through his microphone. “Tanzanite, can you hear me?” a female voice, it’s his leader, Sapphire. But the way she just called him out seems like she just connected to their connection which Elio just put it back on a few minutes ago. “Sapphire?” Elio replies right away with a startled voice. “What happened with our connection? And where is everyone? Is everyone okay?” She says and her voice sounds totally panicked. If she is asking these questions that means she and Aquamarine don’t get to hear all of the previous conversation between him and Howl. “It got jammed before but I fixed it already. Spec’s position is still clear but Howl is helping the lions now.” Elio answers all of the questions quickly and on point. “Howl? That’s not her part, why would she do that?” Sapphire replies with her surprised and confused voice. “I told her to get out from there already but Citrina showed up from the auction’s storage, telling her to help them out. How about you guys?” Elio explains briefly. “Both of us are fine. We are already in a getaway position.” She replies and Elio twitches his eyebrows in confusion, having no idea where the position is. “Where is it actually?” Elio asks them. “We are still inside of the building, a little bit deep inside their secret basement where we already made our own escape route through a tunnel.” Sapphire briefly explains for Elio. They were totally already prepared for such things that would've happened in this auction which is still one of the reasons why Elio is still amazed by their works. Just right before Elio could let out another sigh of relief, Sapphire suddenly asks him something that he doesn’t notice from a minute ago. “How is the outside condition? I heard the polices’ cars outside.” She says. “Yeah, capt. The police are already surrounding the place as they start to make barricades as well.” Spec answers the question. “Alright we need to leave this place in less than five minutes everyone. Got it?” Sapphire back to take over her leader’s role to order them. “Got it.” Elio instantly replies, not wanting to spend more time with the person behind him. “Roger that.” Spec replies and packs his things up except his scope. There should be three responses from Sapphire’s order but it misses one, there is no response at all from Howl. “Howl?” Sapphire calls out to check on her. Hearing that Sapphire starts calling her out, Spec starts to feel something heavier inside himself while Elio checks his screen that shows their connection. “Howl?!” Once again with a louder voice. “She is not connected with us.” Elio reports from what he gets from the screen and it makes everyone’s face surprised. Getting that information from Elio, Aquamarine looks at Sapphire’s terrified face like she is not expecting all of these. “I will get her. Tanzanite please lead me to the way to get inside.” Spec immediately says as he turns around, picking up his duffle bag full with his equipment and slides his sniper. “No, Spectrolite.” Aquamarine speaks up to stop Spec’s insanely risky action “You stay in your position and do your job as it’s told.” He says firmly. “Then what about Howl?! Are you going to leave her behind?!” Spec replies angrily because his emotions take him out of knowing Howl’s position as he keeps rushing to get down from his place. “Negative.” Sapphire replies then taps Aquamarine’s shoulder as he gives her an affirmation smile and nods his head. “We are going to get our little cub and no one will be left behind.” she continues firmly. Spec feels a bit relieved hearing that but still the worries won’t leave him just like that and Sapphire knows that exactly. On the other hand, Elio weirdly feels something that he is not familiar with which is something that gives him a lot of uneasiness in his chest and it’s a bit heavier to breath. “Go to the tunnel we have planned before, Spec. Plant those fantastic bombs of yours for our escape if the worst case happens.” Sapphire continues with order as she and Aquamarine are running to get upstairs “Got it.” Spec answers immediately as he runs down as well toward the escape point tunnel where they are going to get out. “Tanzanite be our direction, please.” Aquamarine demands the order. Elio accepts his request so he navigates Aquamarine with the shortest and safest way to get there. Thanks to their athletic bodies, they reach the place in less than two minutes, faster than Elio thought, which means there is still the possibility of saving them. Arriving at the place, both of them draw their pistols before slowly walking inside the storage room. Now he is also out of Elio’s sights range and the microphone somehow gets disconnected too so Elio takes this chance to look for Lucas who should no longer be around this area. Still fully aware of the person behind him, Elio doesn’t let his guard down because he can do anything randomly out of nowhere without any sign at all. Half of a minute after Aquamarine and Sapphire get inside, suddenly Elio sees an explosion coming from inside the storage room as the smoke and dust starts to fill the CCTVs’ screen. “What was that?!” Spec says almost like shouting because of the sound and shock of it. “Something is wrong.” Elio says with his eyes full of terror seeing all of the CCTVs near the storage room are lost signals. That’s not the only problem because it’s not a single explosion, there are two but right at the same time which cause that loud sound and lots of shocks. Elio notices this because the CCTVs from the front side also fill with the same materials as people start grumbling to get inside, it’s the armored police full with their equipment. “The police are getting inside.” Elio continues and receives a cursing word from Spec who is running as fast as he can to get into the tunnel. The timing sounds like such a coincidence as Elio starts to think again that it won’t be as simple as that. The explosion inside the storage room must be caused by the lions as he turns around to look at Heliodor who is seen doing something on his tab. “Is that yours?” Elio says after turning off his microphone, still aware of not wanting the others to know about it. Heliodor looks at him right away and smiles as he flips his tab, showing he is just playing a sudoku game on it. Elio flinches his eyebrows as he turns around back into his programming station with his sense keeps telling him that they must be behind it. “Update status?” Spec asks as he is now preparing the bombs. After another half of a minute passed by, he finally gets a signal from one of the significant people that Elio has set for Funkids before which is Howl. She shows up between two people who just helped her as two of her arms are on their shoulders and it seems like she is badly injured. “Good news, they are in my sight again,” Elio pauses as he sees that they are the only ones that showed up, no ones behind them. “Bad news, Howl is badly injured.” When Elio reports the bad news, he can hear Spec is letting out a frustrated groan. “Just how many times does that person want to get hurt?” he says sarcastically, not knowing if he really wants to say it outloud or not. Not only Howl who got injured though, the others as well as Elio can see that there is a lot of blood on their clothes, mostly Aquamarine don’t know if that is his or others. Seeing their badly damaged condition, Elio checks their connection whether they are still connected with the microphone or not, unfortunately he only gets a signal with Sapphire. “Sapphire, can you hear me?” Elio calls her out and looking at his screen, she seems like struggling to answer it because she helps the others. “Yes, status?” Sapphire manages to reply and Elio can hear the two other pants heavily. The police are all inside as some of them run toward the storage room while the others spread around the auction’s place. It looks impossible for them to get out without any fight based on their condition and how the police keep getting close to them so Elio needs to use Funkids again to search for the fastest and safest route for them to their previous position. The route is made only for a couple of seconds as Elio checks it once again, this should be their best choice to get us since he still has the main control of their systems. “Alright, follow my instructions.” Elio orders and he can see through the screen that they are nodding their heads. “Of course.” Sapphire replies and continues walking with the members “How are the bombs, Spec?” She still manages to ask in this condition, impressive. “All done. I just want you guys to get here as fast as possible.” Spec answers immediately and gets ready for the next order. “Good. Come and pick us at the entrance. I promise your training won’t be wasted here.” Sapphire orders him once again with her encouraging voice. “Time to prove that my aim is better than yours, Aquamarine.” Spec replies with his cocky voice and they all can hear Aquamarine scoffing. As things want to get better, they are already close to their tunnel through Funkids’ route set up, and suddenly the gates start to close. At first it seems pretty normal for them as they are thinking that it’s one of Elio’s ways to put them into safety by blocking the police’s way behind them, he always does that on their previous missions. In fact, it’s not, he doesn’t do any of it which makes Elio look through all of his screen confusedly. From this moment, Elio starts to shiver again and thinks something must be going to happen for the next seconds. Suddenly out of nowhere some police show up right before their turn, the police are already there but the gates don’t stop closing behind them. “Tanza-” Sapphire speaks up but it cuts off as Elio looks at their connection that he is disconnected with them all. Elio starts panicking and quickly commands Funkids to get access through the gates but it can’t, something blocks its connection but the screens are still on. “That’s a close one.” Heliodor speaks up behind him as Elio immediately turns around to look at him with his furious eyes. “What the heck did you do?” Elio asks with full anger. “Oh, you know. Maybe I can say sleeping dart?” Heliodor replies and flips his tab once again showing that the dart is stabbed right into a computer which has Funkids label on it. It only means that his dart is only to shut down all of the systems that makes Funkids can’t get any access from it. “Ironic, isn't it? You make a perfect powerful bot for breaking and hijacking systems yet mine is a powerful destruction bot.” Heliodor says and stands up, approaching Elio. “Deja vu? I think so because this should be similar to your first test here.” Heliodor says and now their distance is close enough “But the only difference now is that you don’t need to break any code, you just need to choose under conditions. Every choice has its own consequences, right?” Heliodor continues as he hands Elio his tab that is now showing two options on it. Wake up, Sleep. “If you want to wake it up, you must hand me Funkids once it’s over.” Heliodor explains with a wide grin on his face while Elio looks at the screen terrified by hearing that. Of course the only option Elio wants to take right now is to wake Funkids up and get all the access back but Heliodor must know that by now. But giving such a perfect powerful bot to Heliodor? The world would be doomed under his control. “If you keep it shut down, fine by me. The bot is still yours but you know what is going to happen with your members.” He says and points toward the screens. Elio glances toward the screen, his team members are already at the edge as the police keep pushing forward. No other choice, Elio presses the ‘wake up’ option and quickly hands the tab back to Heliodor. “Good doing business with ya.” he says with a smirk on his face and walks back toward his bench. Quickly Elio returns to his programming station and gets all the access, he stops the last 2 gates right on time as it gives them some time to get into the tunnel. Even though he gets back his access toward the systems, he can’t hear anything from the members. That doesn’t matter right now because Elio already stopped the gates from closing for them and that's the only thing he can do other than praying for their safety. He feels slightly relieved when they are no longer in CCTV’s screen which means they are already getting into the tunnel. But he regrets feeling that way too early because he hears an unexpected explosion sound and the hard earthshocks beneath his van. Elio remembers that Sapphire ordered Spec for planting his bombs but it shouldn’t be this big, it’s not only his bombs. In this situation where the van is still shaken, Elio looks back toward Heliodor who is calmly holding his tab with a smile on his face. He seems like waiting for Elio to look at him and his mouth starts mimicking as if it’s saying ‘boom.’ Then Elio just realizes based on what Heliodor just told him. ‘Mine is a powerful destruction bot.’ Heliodor gets everything in this match.
