Tomorrow morning arrives where everyone is already gathered together in the garage. “I’ll show you how it’s done.” Spinel says as he nudges Obsidian's shoulder. “Don’t be a burden for the team.” His partner, Schorl, says annoyedly while rolling his eyes. Obsidian is the one who gets a lot of pressure from the team members because of his request yesterday. This team is a lot more annoying than the previous one. “Guys! Focus!” Onyx scolds all of them annoyedly right after they enter the van. “You know how to shut me up, ma lady~” Pearl says, the one who keeps flirting with her since the planning. Because of how Pearl responds to Onyx, it makes the other laugh and the van becomes noisier. Thank god, I have locked up someone before..
Elio says sarcastically inside himself and refers that he won’t open the getaway later for them if they keep like this.
Few minutes before the van arrives at the targeted bank, they still keep talking, joking, and teasing each other. It only makes Onyx let out a frustrated sigh which Elio notices. “Alright. We are here. Everyone just goes according to the plan I explained yesterday.” Onyx says as she opens the van’s door and gets out of it quickly. With that, the team follows right behind her and Tahitian can continue to the next stop for the other team. Around 5 minutes later, everyone is already in their position. “Chalcedony,” Onyx calls Elio through the microphone “Turns off the security system in five, four, three, two, one.” The exact time of the countdown, all of the system goes off. Elio already learned from his previous work which took a double check on the security system, guards routine, and all of the bank’s maps. Hopefully, his second work will be better than the previous one where suddenly unexpected movements from the guards happened. Still the guards must have noticed it after at least a couple of minutes. But this time, it seems like the guards took more than five minutes to notice it. “The guards notice it. Blizzard, Tourmaline both of you know what to do.” Onyx tells them while she is still busy picking up all of the money she found. “On it, mademoiselle.” Blizzard replies. Both of them move synchronically to distract the guards from the front door. But their method of making distraction is too obvious for the guards to know and makes them move faster to stop both sides. When they are in the middle of making a distraction, without both of them knowing it, the guards are ready to ambush them from behind. Obsidian is the first one to notice those movements. “You go for the front team. I will get the others.” Obsidian tells Schorl and quickly runs to the getaway point. “Don’t tell me what to do!” Schorl replies annoyedly but still doing what he just told. Meanwhile the team inside the safe room. “Heh, isn't it too easy?” Ackpal says and chuckles with a smirk on his face. “Easiest money of my life, dude.” Pearl replies. “This should be all, guys. Let’s get out before the guards can-.” Onyx says as she closes her bag but she gets interrupted. “Yo guys! Take a look at these~” Spinel says and gets everyone’s attention. Spinel just opened another room that they haven’t taken out any of it from there. “Oohh~ Nice one!” Pearl says as he excitedly approaches the room that Spinel just pointed out. “Let’s get these too.” Ackpal says as he joins in behind Pearl. On the other hand, Onyx’s bag is already full with cash that she quickly grabbed before. But that is not the thing, that is not what Onyx is thinking about right now. It’s their safety and how they need to get out of here before it’s too late. Deep inside her, she doesn’t want to repeat the same mistake as the previous one. “Guys!” Onyx calls them and she decides that no one will be left behind “Come on!” “Oh? Jackpot!” Spinel says and shows it to the other two men beside him that he is holding a small coin that is made of gold. It makes the others laugh and becomes more greedy than ever, wanting some more to defeat what Spinel just found. Unfortunately, the greed is already winning here which makes them ignore Onyx’s warning. “Guys!” Onyx tries once again while approaching them quickly “We need to move!” She says and grabs Ackpal’s shoulder. “Aiyo, I still have some space in my bag!” He replies and continues to put more cash into his bag. “Calm down, princess. There is nothing bad that could happen after all.” Pearls says and all of them ignore Onyx. At this point, there is no way these three are going to listen to her which makes Onyx panicked that the same accident could happen again this time. But that thought lasts for a few seconds until suddenly someone says something through the microphone, his voice is a bit trembling. “Guys..? Back up, please?” Tourmaline says. The front team, who get a job to make distraction, they already circled by the guards “Get on the floor!” The team can hear the guard orders through it as well. Those words make them stop picking out the cash for a while and look at each other. “Oh shit! Let’s take all of it quickly.” Ackpal says as he increases his speed. “No! We need to leave! Now!” Onyx shouts loudly with a panicked voice that all of them notice right away. Onyx hopes that it finally hits them but that still not enough to make them listen to her. Otherwise, Pearl suddenly smirks and looks at her from head to toe. “Aww.. someone is scared, huh?” he says mockingly and starts approaching Onyx. “Do you know how adorable you are?” touching her cheek. Reacting to Pearl’s action, Onyx quickly slaps away his hand and glares at him. “I’m the leader here and this is my order for all of you.” She replies coldly. The situation becomes intense in the safe room meanwhile Elio is checking all of his system and Tahitian is just minding his business on his phone.
Through the screen on his computer, he can observe the timing when the team needs to get out, which it’s going to be around 1 minute from now.
For that 1 minute, he focuses on his screen that is showing the front side of the bank where the other team is already cornered by the guards. “Blizzard, I can help you by opening the East door of the fire emergency door’s bank. It will be safer if you want to help them there.” Elio gives the direction to Blizzard.
“On it.” He quickly replies and follows Elio’s instructions. While waiting for him to get to the position, he looks back to the inside and the getaway point for the inside team. Another unexpected thing for today is that the guards team splits into two groups again. One of them goes straight to the safe room while the other goes to the getaway point which makes Elio confused. How can the guards know where they will get out? Something passes by and that catches Elio’s attention, it’s Obsidian who is in a rush to get to the getaway point. The guards probably see him and think that we have already set up a getaway point for them. “Obsidian stop!” Elio shouts through the microphone and makes all of the team members stop for a while from what they are doing at the moment. “The guards are heading and setting up their position in our getaway point. Use the one in the South instead. The inside group can get there by the ventilation.” Elio quickly explains. “South? There is a way in there?” Obsidian asks Elio as he also stops himself rushing to the getaway point and quickly hides behind a pillar. “I’ll lead you there. For the team inside the safe room, get out of there immediately.” Elio tells Onyx’s group and starts to lead the way for Obsidian. Back to the group who is inside the safe room. “Did you hear that?” Onyx says angrily and glares at Pearl “Just like the condition he told us, the guards are already on their way in here! We need to move on now!” “Are you blind or what?” Pearl replies annoyedly to her and puts his arm on her shoulder to turn her around facing the door. “It’s completely locked! There is no way they will get in here for less than one minute!” Pearls takes off his hands from her and turns around to the cash lockers again. “It only takes a few seconds until that Obsucker comes and gets us out.” He explains and continues to grab the money. “But still-” Onyx once again gets cut off. But it’s not from the team members, it's the sound of the door that the guards finally break in through. Onyx who is already in her position to get away can quickly run towards the ventilation. “Oh crap!” Ackpal says as he quickly runs following Onyx. The other two who just focused on picking up the money are struggling now to close their bags that are almost over filled by the money. “Go go go!” The leader of guards commands his team to spread out and check out the entire safe room. Right just after the other two who got left behind because Onyx needs to open the ventilation, both of them meet with five of the guards. The guards automatically aim their weapon towards both of them but thankfully they can move fast. “Stop right there!” One of the guards shouts “They are here!” Continue by the others. Pearl and Spinel run as fast as they can towards the South area where their getaway will be. “Hurry up!” Ackpal shouts from in front of the ventilation. “Chalcedony, how long can the gate be closed?” Onyx asks him and finally successfully opens the ventilation for them. “The duration will be only thirty seconds.” Elio responds quickly while still monitoring both sides, the front one and the safe room. “Then start to close when I tell you so. If the situation changes, tell me as soon as possible” Onyx says as she helps the others to get inside the ventilation. Ackpal already gets inside when she opens the ventilation. Only need to wait for the others, Pearl and Spinel who are running and dodging the bullet from the guards. “You help Pearl and I will help Spinel.” Onyx tells Ackpal of what he needs to do then he responds with a nod. Spinel runs a bit faster than Pearl which makes him arrive earlier than him. Just about Onyx is going to help get inside, suddenly someone screams loudly in pain. “Ahh!” Pearl screams and one of his knees falls on the floor as he quickly hides behind a wall. Again, one of the members got shot. “Pearl!” Ackpal shouts and wants to help Pearl who is in pain but Onyx stops him. “You help Spinel. I will get him.” Onyx says as she takes off the bag from her and takes her gun out from the mini pocket behind her back. She starts shooting the guards so as to make the distraction so that she can get closer to help Pearl. “Aghh…” Pearl groans in pain while holding his right tight who is badly damaged. When Onyx finally can get to his side, she quickly checks his condition. The wound is deeper than she thought. Onyx quickly rips apart some of her clothes to wrap it around his thigh. “Can you stand up?” Onyx asks worriedly as she also tries to stop the bleeding. “With your kiss?” Pearl replies with a smirk on his face which only makes Onyx press his wound. It makes him groan in pain louder than before but Onyx doesn’t say anything other than glaring at him as if he is going to do that again. “I can but..” he grunts in pain as he tries to stand up “I don't think our body will stay in one piece.” Pearl says and chuckles bitterly. Their situation is not worse than the previous one because it feels like they are already cornered by the guards. Even though the guards slowly walk towards them, Onyx can sense that all of them are fully aware of what is going to happen. “How fast can you run?” Onyx asks him once again and she checks the bullet inside her gun. “A bit slower in this kind of condition but I have felt something worse than this. Seems like I can make it faster.” Pearl says and stands up from his seat with Onyx's help. “Then run.” Onyx says to him which makes him look at her confused face. “You want me to have another hole in my body?” Pearl says and scoffs sarcastically. “I will tell the other two to help you get in as well when I hold the guards back as long as I can.” Onyx explains “Got it? Get ready.” She continues and reloads her gun. “Wait! Why would-” Pearl is going to ask her a question but he gets cut off from Onyx who is now giving orders to her team. “Ackpal, Spinel help Pearl to get inside the ventilation in three two one and go!” Onyx commands and she suddenly shows up from the hiding place to drag the guards attention. Shootout starts again between Onyx and the guards as the other two quickly take off their bag and help Pearl who is struggling to run and get to the ventilation. “Come on!” Ackpal shouts as he helps Pearl to run and Spinel takes off the bag from Pearl. On Onyx’s side, she is trying all she can do to keep shooting at the guards to distract them from her team. But there is no way in that moment she doesn’t get any hit from the guards. Thankfully the bullets didn’t hit her directly, only the side of her body parts. Still because of how many she got from there, it still causes a lot of pain for her. Time after time, she also didn’t forget to take a glance over her team. All of them are already close to the ventilation and this should be the time where she starts moving as well. Onyx thinks this is her chance to run over to get there but seems like she can’t get out from her hiding place now. The guards keep shooting at her without giving her a chance to move or to shoot them back. “Lead! Come-” Spinel shouts Onyx’s name but gets interrupted by one of the bullets that almost hit one of them. The chance of her to get away becomes impossible at this moment and Onyx also notices it. “Seems like this is the last one time, huh?” Onyx talks with herself and chuckles bitterly. She takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly as she also takes a peek toward the ventilation. “Chalcedony, close the gate.” Onyx orders Elio. On Elio’s side, he is also watching her situation right now and he completely knows why she decided that. “As you wish.” Elio replies and presses the button to close the gate. Thirty seconds from here, the gate will totally be closed. “What?! No!” Pearl shouts through the microphone. “Give her a chance to get away!” “Come on, Pearl! We need to get out!” Ackpal says as he pulls Pearl to get through the gate. “Don’t you want to help her?!” Pearl says with a guilty voice. “How can we-” Spinel just about replies to him but suddenly someone shows up behind and passes them like a flash. It’s Obsidian and Spinel can see that there are grenade’s clips at his lips. He throws the explosive grenades towards where the guards are and the smoke type near the Onyx’s hiding place. “Come, Onyx!” Obsidian shouts and lets out his hand to help Onyx get inside the ventilation. Onyx who sees that quickly responds by closing her nose with her arm and runs toward the ventilation. She quickly grabs his hand as Obsidian also pulls her right after it. Ten seconds left and both of them are already near. “Go first.” Obsidian tells Onyx and she quickly slides in. Thankfully, after her Obsidian can slide in as well and the gate totally closed right behind him. Both of them almost out of breath and look at each other. “How did you..?” Onyx asks him confusedly while still breathing heavily. Obsidian doesn’t respond to her, instead he just stands up. “Come on. We still need to move on.” He says while taking Onyx’s bag and walks away from her. The team who made a distraction at the front door successfully came back into the van as well. The last members who get inside the van are both Obsidian and Onyx, then Tahitian drives the van away quickly. “Woohoo! Mission successful!” Tahitian says cheerfully. Thankfully in this mission, no one left behind. The team is having a small celebration inside the van with very loud music played. Elio hates these kinds of things so he moves to the corner where it has less people and hopes it will be less noisy. Even though Elio already sets the music on his headphones in full volume, he still can hear those noise sounds from the others who are celebrating their mission over there. Because of that Elio feels defeated that it’s useless to move to the corner and just takes off his headphone from him. Meanwhile on Elio’s right side, there are Obsidian and Onyx which Elio didn’t notice. Obsidian is helping Onyx to treat her wounds from the gunshot she had before. “Tch!” Onyx clicks her tongue because of the pain she feels on her right shoulder. On the other hand, Obsidian just helps her quietly, no word comes out from him. After a few minutes, they finally finish bandaging Onyx’s wound, now she looks totally wrapped by it. Just about Obsidian stands up from beside her, Onyx suddenly holds his hand. “Hey.” She calls Obsidian which makes him turn his head to look at Onyx. “Let me continue what I wanted to ask before.” She says to Obsidian and he just stands there, no expression at all. “How did you manage to have those things?” Onyx asks as she grips his hand a bit tighter. No replies from him. “In the Onyx team, only the leader is allowed to have a weapon on them. How can you have grenades?” she explains and looks at Obsidian with sharp eyes. Finally Obsidian makes a move to respond by bending over with one of his knees and gets closer to Onyx’s left ear. “I have my own way.” He whispers and stands up again. That leaves Onyx speechless as she only watches him slowly walk towards the opposite side of where she sits. On the other hand, usually Elio won’t notice or pay any attention to his surroundings. This time, he didn't miss what just happened beside him. When Obsidian stands after the whisper, Elio quickly turns his gaze away from them and tries to hide it by focusing on his tab. There really is something that I still don’t know about this company but both of them know some of those. Elio says to himself as they all are waiting for the van to arrive back at the company’s building.
