“I said hands in the air!” One of the guards shouts once again with a gun in his hands. But none of the four put their hands in the air, they are still holding on to their bag and money. “What’s going on here?” Tourmaline whispers through the microphone. “I swear that nerdy won’t get anything from this.” Pearl replies annoyedly. Because of those two mumbling through the microphone, the two guards notice them. “Hey! I said hands in the air!” one of them repeats it again but there is no single bullet coming out from their guns, only threatening with words. With that, only Tourmaline and Pearl drop their money and bag on the floor then put their hands in the air while the other two still don’t move an inch. These two probably notice that the two guards are actually still new, that is why they don’t feel threatened and smirk as they look at each other. “Heh, what are you going to do with that?” Ackpal says mockingly to the guards. “Wanna play policeman or something with us?” Spinel continues to provoke them. Elio gets their idea of doing this, they just want to disturb these two guards and make them lessen their guard. Quickly Elio responds to that by trying to hack the room to lock it so the other guards can’t get in to help these two. From Ackpal and Spinel action, the other two who just obeyed the guards order, start to lower their hand back. After mocking them by words, Spinel tries to take a few steps forward to the guards. “Don’t move!” one of them threatens him once again as they start to aim both of the guns toward Spinel. “Why? Aren’t we going to play together?” Spinel says as he gets closer to the guards while waving around his hands and Ackpal follows him from his side. “Should we decide the role first? Or you guys okay with it?” Ackpal continues mockingly. The closer they get to them, the guards start shaking, almost visible that the gun on their hands is trembling. Their distance is already close enough for Ackpal and Spinel to take away the gun but they stay still on their spots. There is too much risk if they boldly do it, that is why they will just let the other two who are sneakily moving behind them to get closer with the guards too. Meanwhile outside the bank, Onyx and Blizzard, who are trying to make the visitors panic without the guards' notice, are done with their job to borrow some time at the front. If they try to distract the others more than this, they probably get suspicious from the others. “Status?” Onyx asks through her microphone and Blizzard looks a bit panicked beside her while looking around which makes Onyx to nudge his arm lightly. “Stop. That only makes you suspicious.” Onyx whispers to Blizzard who is looking at her and nods his head slowly. “From here, it seems like the situation is not really that bad. Just two rookies of guards holding their guns towards them.” Tahitian replies because he is beside Elio right now as Elio is still finding on their way out. “Come pick us up, Tahitian.” Onyx says and Tahitian replies ‘yes’ immediately. “Obsidian and Schorl, you two know what to do.” She says while waiting for Tahitian. “Yes, ma’am.” Schorl replies and gets ready to back them up. Back to inside the safe room, where the two guards are already circled by the four. This time, there is no chance for these two newbies to escape from them as their trembling clearly shows right now. “The roles are all set, right?” Ackpal says arrogantly since they know that they are in the winning position. “There is still time if you guys wanna exchange roles with us, tho.” Pearl says mockingly toward the two guards who are already scared of them. While the four of them keep on provoking the guards, they are only freezing on their spots. “Alright. Let’s play!” Spinel says and rushes to the guards. Right before he takes them down suddenly there is a gunshot out of nowhere that hits his right shoulder. Because of that, Spinel fails to tackle them and falls down on the floor as the other three quickly stand by their position. The gunshot came from one of the guards who they cornered before. “Agh! Darn it! It hurts!” Spinel groans painfully while holding his right shoulder. While the other two guards are still too stunned by their own actions, they just come to realize there is no time for them to stay like that. With that, they quickly aim the gun at the other three. “This is what you got if you guys didn’t do what I said!” One of the guards threatens them once again. That leaves everyone in silence and takes a glance over each other. Ackpal gives signs that they need to get away since these guards probably become brave enough to use the gun a second time to them. With that, Ackpal and Pearls quickly turn around and hide at the nearest place as the two guards start pointing the gun towards them. “Hey!” One of them says and shots another bullet toward them, thankfully this time no one gets it. Because of that, there is a chance for Tourmaline to help Spinel who is on the floor to hide him. Now the table is already turned around, they are the one at the corner by these two newbies. “Better you do something quick, you stupid nerd!” Spinel whispers through his mic irritatedly. **Back to inside the van** Right after Onyx enters the van, she slaps Elio on his head as it makes him turn around and look at her while touching his head. “You’re watching porn or what, huh?!” Onyx scolds him angrily “How can those two flies come through the safe room?!” Elio only looks at her and doesn’t say anything yet he just points to the building map in front of him. With that, Onyx bends down a little to get a closer look at his screen, especially to the place that he is pointing it now. Her irritated face suddenly changes, her eyes widen from what she just discovered from Elio’s computer. There is a small room that she missed when she explained about the plan yesterday. At first, she is not sure of what she is seeing right now as she tries to look around the building map and it’s true. She missed a spot where there could be guards there. From that, Onyx just stays quiet and there is a guilt in her eyes now while Elio ignores her and turns to his computer. Because the plan is a bit ruined now, he needs to look for another possible way out for them safely. It takes a bit long for him to know all of the code controllers and something that might hold the other guards to get to them. “Better you do something quick, you stupid nerd!” Elio hears that right after he found the way out for them. “Grab all of the money bags now.” Elio says through his mic “The lights will be off in thirty seconds.” “What?! Thirty?” Pearl says surprised. “Can you at least make it a minute?!” Tourmaline says with a panicked voice. Based on their reaction, 30 seconds is too short for them to get all of the bags and get to the get out points. On the other hand, for Elio, he can’t hold that for more than 30 seconds because all of the guards are already on their way there. “Less than twenty five.” Elio warns them once again as there is no negotiation for time delay to turn off the lights. With that the Ackpal and Pearl quickly run over to get their bag while moving around since the guards are trying to hit them as well. Meanwhile Tourmaline still needs to help Spinel to get up. When Spinel finally can stand up again, he gets rid of the Tourmaline arm around him harshly with an angry face. “Now he thinks that he’s the boss?!” Spinel mutters irritatedly as he runs towards his bag while holding his right shoulder. “Ten seconds. Please prepare your night visions.” Elio says and starts to count down the time when the lights will shut off. Thankfully the four of them get into their position right when Elio hits zero and all of the lights are off now. With that, Elio also opens the door for them to get out and they quickly get in there. But still, it won’t go as smoothly as they thought. Just right about they enter the getaway point, suddenly this time it’s Tourmaline who got shot by the guards. “Aghh! They shot me!” He shouts in pain and his body slams on the floor. The bullet gets through his left thigh and because of that it makes him fall on the floor. Spinel who has already gotten shot before can’t help him back right now and he just focuses on getting through the way out. With that Ackpal, who was at the front line before, comes all the way back to help Tourmaline to stand up with him. “Come on! Stand up!” Ackpal says struggling to help him because both of them have the bags. Just a few seconds after Tourmaline got shot, all other guards finally can break through the door that Elio already hacked and closed before. “Go go go!” Says the leader of the guard team. The leader quickly divides the team into two, one is to check all over the safe room and the other follows then tries to stop them to get out from the bank. This time, the guards had better equipment than those two newbies. It is fully equipped with the armor and highlights on their guns. “Oh shit! Come on!” Ackpal says, still struggling to help Tourmaline get into the way out. On the other hand, seeing this condition, none of them will get out safely if Elio doesn’t do anything about it. With that, he quickly tries to get access to close the way out and warns them that he is going to close it in 1 minute. “Gate closes in sixty seconds.” Elio warns them. “The hell?!” Spinel replies angrily to Elio while running to get away. “Don’t you see how our condition is right now?!” Pearl also replies irritatedly as he is helping Spinel to run beside him. In the van’s control system, hearing what Elio just said to the team makes Blizzard get mad at him as he stands up and pulls Elio’s collar’s shirt. “Are you crazy?! There is no way these people can get out in sixty seconds!” Blizzard says angrily towards him. Onyx wants to get mad at Elio as well but she thinks that only waste time and her energy if she wants Elio to do something for her. “Can you at least add ten more seconds for them?” Onyx asks Elio who is being lifted by his collar. “Sixty seconds is the longest time I can do for the gate.” Elio answers her calmly. Even though Elio feels a bit scared and threatened by Blizzard's action now, he needs to hide it from the others. Otherwise, they will know and notice how inexperienced he is. “If you already know sixty seconds is already set up from the bank’s security then why did you choose to close the gate now?!” Blizzard is shouting right at Elio’s face. “Then lots of the guards also can get through there.” Elio still replies to him coldly even with this much pressure on him. From Elio’s reply, that makes all of them become silent in a second with widened eyes. Blizzard, who is holding tightly on his collar, slowly releases the strength on his grip. Seeing their reactions, Elio won’t let this chance slide as to cover up that he doesn’t have any experience before. He smirks and looks at all of their eyes. “Now, please just sit over there. I need to warn them that twenty seconds have already passed away.” Elio says while brushing off Blizzard’s hands from his collar. Back to the group who is still trying to escape from there, the other two are still struggling to help each other, they already left behind, almost close to the two newbies who are chasing them. Another bullet hits Ackpal at his right arm but it is not in the middle, just slightly side of it. “Agh!” Ackpal groans in pain as he automatically lets one of his arms that is holding on Tourmaline as a support for him. “Forty seconds.” Elio warns them once again while he is checking back to back from the getaway gate and where the guards' position now. “This nerd is really messing with us.” Spinel irritatedly says to Pearl who is beside him and also feels the same with Spinel right now. Both of them are upset but they can’t do anything at this moment and just focus on getting out from this bank. On the other hand, those two, who left behind, are struggling to move now. Ackpal's right arm is not as strong as before because of the shot and Tourmaline has a deep bullet wound on his left thigh. Another bullet hits Ackpal the side of his left leg which makes the two of them fall down again. “Thirty seconds.” Elio still reminds the others about the time when the gate is going to be totally closed. With the time countdown, both of them become more panicked about this situation. “Let’s go Ackpal!” Tourmaline says loudly, tries to ease the panicked situation for both of them Ackpal looks at him back to back with the distance between them as the guards who are starting to get closer to them. Even though Tourmaline just encouraged them that they all will get out from here, for Ackpal it’s impossible based on their condition right now. They have a really bag full of cash on their back, Tourmaline got a bullet right through his left thigh. Because of all of the considerations, he decides to run away by himself. Not only that, his greed is taking control of him now which makes him push Tourmaline down on the floor and snatches away his bag from him. “Wai- What are you doing?!” Tourmaline says with a panicked voice and tries to hold Ackpal's arm. But Ackpal moves away quickly from him and looks back at the guards once again. “Priority.” Ackpal says and finally leaves Tourmaline alone there on the floor. “No! Wait!” Tourmaline says while reaching out his hand to Ackpal who his back is already facing him as he runs as fast as he can with two heavy bags on his shoulders. Just only a few seconds, some of the guards reach Tourmaline as it lures the time a bit and Ackpal runs as fast as he can to get through the getaway gate. “Thirty seconds.” Elio reminds them once again as the other two are almost reaching the getaway. Spinel just runs as fast as he can to get through the gate meanwhile Pearl feels like he will get through the gate in less than 10 seconds. With that he looks back at Ackpal who is a bit far from him and approaches him. “Come! We can make it!” Pearl says and quickly gets one of the bags from Ackpal to remove the weights that he had on his back. Because of Pearl’s help, both of them can get through the gate successfully without any guard following them from behind. Right after both of them get through the gate, both of them are now exhausted and fall down on the floor with heavy breath. “Thanks for the help dude.” Ackpal says breathlessly. “Got your back.” Pearl replies exhaustedly. Not long after they fell down on the floor, Obsidian and scorl show up to help them to get into the pick up point of their plan. “Good job you two. Spinel is already waiting outside.” Obsidian says and grabs the bags from them. “We still need to reach the pick up point. Come on.” Scorl says while helping the other two to stand up. With that all of them successfully get out from the bank and not long after they waited outside, their van comes. “Come in, come in! Hurry!” Tahitian says while giving them the hand sign to get inside the van quickly. The four of them, who get inside the safe room, are the first to get in and followed by the other two as well. As Spinel steps inside the van, he quickly throws away his bag on the floor and rushes to Elio. Once again, Elio’s collar is getting grabbed by Spinel but this time it’s a lot stronger and tighter than Blizzard did before. It almost makes Elio choked and a bit hard to breathe. “Who do you think you are, huh?! You almost made us trapped in there!” Spinel says angrily to him while lifting Elio from his seat then slams him at the nearest side of the van. Elio already knows this is going to happen right after these guys come back into the van. Because of that, he manages himself to not be too scared and hides the fear in his eyes by only shifting his eyes and putting on his irritated face. “You just said almost, right?” Elio fights back even though he is still lifted by Spinel. “Doesn’t that mean you passed?” Because of how Elio looks and replies to him, it surprises Spinel and his eyes widen a bit from it. Looks like he almost takes aback from the way Elio responds to his threats. “Yeah three of us passed! Tourmaline left behind, you idiot!” Spinel shouts angrily again as he throws down Elio’s body. “If only you gave us at least ten more seconds, all of us will be here!” At this moment, Elio shouldn’t stay silent. He needs to fight back to prove to them that he has been in these kinds of conditions before. Fight back in words not physically because it would be impossible to win if not doing it with his intelligence. “You said ten seconds, right?” Elio replies calmly while trying to stand up “Did you even see how close the distance you guys are with the guards? Can you think what would happen in those ten seconds?” Elio defends himself confidently. From what Elio said, that makes everyone in the van become quiet and feel irritated towards Elio’s behavior. Spinel, who is still in front of Elio, tries to punch him right on his face but Onyx stops him right away. “He got the point. Those are elite guards and we don’t have the equipment to fight those guys.” Onyx says while lowering down Spinel’s arm that is almost hitting Elio’s face. However, Spinel won’t forget this and can’t let it slide just like that. He brushes off Onyx's hand from him quickly and glares at Elio. “I won’t hesitate to kill you next time.” Spinel says as he points his finger into Elio’s face before going to the back seat. Elio feels so much relief that he survived from all of these people. If Onyx is not there, he doesn’t have any other idea to stop him. At the same time, he also can’t show that he feels relief or letting out a sigh. He needs to look natural as he used to be framed or something similar with that. As Tahitian drives them back to the basecamp, Onyx tells everyone to take a rest and wait for the next job from her later.
